Choosing the right type of shot blasting machine requires comprehensive consideration of the shape, size, material, processing requirements, production volume, cost and other factors of the workpiece. The following are some common types of shot blasting machines and their applicable workpieces:

Hook-type shot blasting machine: suitable for various medium and large castings, forgings, weldments, heat-treated parts, etc. Its advantage is that the workpiece can be lifted by the hook, and the workpiece with irregular shape or not suitable for flipping can be fully cleaned, which is particularly suitable for multi-variety and small batch production. However, for larger or overweight workpieces, the operation may not be convenient.

Crawler-type shot blasting machine: commonly used for surface treatment of small castings, forgings, stampings, gears, bearings, springs and other small workpieces. This shot blasting machine uses rubber crawlers or manganese steel crawlers to convey workpieces, which can better handle some parts that are afraid of collision and has high production efficiency. However, it is not suitable for processing large or overly complex workpieces.

Through-type shot blasting machine: including roller through-type, mesh belt through-type, etc. It is suitable for workpieces with large size and relatively regular shape such as steel plates, steel sections, steel pipes, metal structure weldments, steel products, etc. This type of shot blasting machine has a large processing capacity, can achieve continuous operation, and is suitable for mass production.

Rotary table shot blasting machine: mainly used for small and medium-sized workpieces, such as engine connecting rods, gears, diaphragm springs, etc. The workpiece is placed flat on the turntable and is shot blasted by rotation, which can better handle some flat and collision-sensitive workpieces.

Trolley shot blasting machine: can be used for shot blasting of various large castings, forgings, and structural parts. After the trolley carrying large workpieces is driven to the preset position of the shot blasting chamber, the door of the chamber is closed for shot blasting. The trolley can rotate during shot blasting.

Catenary shot blasting machine: generally used for shot blasting of small cast iron parts, cast steel parts, forgings and stamping parts, especially suitable for processing some workpieces that require continuous operation.

Steel pipe inner and outer wall shot blasting machine: It is a shot blasting cleaning equipment dedicated to the inner and outer walls of steel pipes, which can effectively remove rust, oxide scale, etc. on the inner and outer walls of steel pipes.

Wire rod special shot blasting machine: mainly for small round steel and wire rod surface cleaning and strengthening, through shot blasting strengthening to remove the rust on the workpiece surface, in preparation for subsequent processes.
